It's Official....

It's official... I am now a Boy Scouts Merit Badge Counselor. This is my first time doing anything with Boy Scouts and I picked some off the wall Merit Badges, so we will see if I ever get a phone call from a boy who wants to actually do what I am a counselor for!

Those are also the badges that the boys get when they complete their requirements. I thought that Genealogy would just be fun. I was a reading teacher (hence the reading one). Sewing is fun and I love fabric. I was the yearbook editor in high school and I do the yearbook at the kids elementary school, I figured journalism I could handle. Being that I was a teacher, scholarship I was qualified for. Citizenship in the Community is a required merit badge, so I thought I would throw one of those in too!
