Like I mentioned in my sledding post, the last 10 minutes of the drive home from Wrightwood were stressful. We got a phone call on my cell phone when we were at Johnson and Phelan roads. It was the alarm company telling us that our alarm was going off. I asked which entrance and they said the front door. I knew that I had locked it, so I asked them to dispatch the police.
We came home to the front door being kicked in, but not too much looked out of place. Here is a picture of the front door.
and a close-up... looks much worse closer.
Luckily I had a client that was willing to stop by and secure the door for us. It has been a scary afternoon, it seems that only 5 gifts are missing. 1 is priceless to our family, 2 are useless to anyone but us and the last 2 can be replaced. I am thankful for my $36 a month alarm bill... it could have been so much worse. We are all safe and very little was lost.

That is just soo ridiculous of people to ruin and take advantage of the system that way. I can't imagine what you were feeling! I am glad everyone is OK, but it definitely puts a "damper" on the season for sure, much less you guys feeling "safe and secure" in your home!!!
You are a strong woman kasey, and a great Mommy for all you do:)
