We took our annual trip to Valley of Fire on Easter weekend. Grandma Sue and Grandpa Steve were able to join us!! Aunt Tracy, Uncle Paul, Liz, Rachel, John, Sarah and Jacob came up for the day on Saturday.
Daddy always takes a ton of pictures, most of which are AMAZING. It makes it very hard for this mommy to narrow them down. I have decided to make several posts about this trip.
First up.... A hike (adventure) that Daddy, Grandma and the kids went on. Mommy and Grandpa Steve hung out together and had some quiet time. Mommy did homework and Grandpa Steve took a nap.

This hike is not a trail hike, nor is it on ANY of the maps that Valley of Fire provides..... needless to say, I am not sure how many of the kids will go on an adventure in the near future with dad!
I had dropped the family off at one point and was suppose to pick them up at 3:00 at a different spot. I was there early and waiting.... they did not show up, after an hour of waiting (I needed to go get Cheila) I ended up leaving and Grandpa came back to wait... shortly after I left, they got back safe and sound... although it did leave me a bit worried!
