Abigail's Head

I think just about everyone know about what happened to Abi's head, but for those that don't here is what happened and the update.
About 2 weeks ago I got a phone call from the school. Abi was on the swings and the little girl next to her jumped off her swing, the little girls swing flung back and hit Abi across the left side of her head.
The nurse called and told me what happened, but they were going to keep Abi at school. Within 10 minutes they called me and told me that she was dizzy and feeling pukey. So I sent grandma to pick her up.
She came to the office and rested. Then Friday she went to school, but came home early because of headaches. She seemed ok on Saturday, but Sunday was miserable. I called the doctor and took her in on Monday. She was diagnosed with Post (some big long word that I do not know) Concussion Syndrome. Basically she can have these headaches for up to 2-3 months. But if the headaches were as bad as they had been by Friday (last week) I was to call. Abi has pretty much not stayed at school longer than 3 hours every day the past week.
Today I took her at 7:00am to Kaiser in Fontana. That means I had to be up and dressed and get her up and out the door by 6:00am.
All went well with the CT-Scan. Abi did well and did not cry or get upset. I think I prepared her for the worst! I wish I would have thought to take her picture inside that big machine, but I was tired and nervous for her.
We should have an update about how the scan came out sometime next week!
