Big Bear

Mike and I went to Big Bear to celebrate our Anniversary. I have a client who owns 2 cabins up there and let us use one of them for the weekend. We only got to go up Saturday night and Sunday afternoon, because the kids had baseball/softball games. We had a very enjoyable time, with NO kids. It was nice to relax, sleep in and not have anyone say "mommy" for about 20 hours!

The Cabin.


If you would like to rent this cabin for the weekend, it is called Morning Wood and it is located in Big Bear Lake. It is little but very comfy! There is another bigger cabin on the same property called Applewood.

Just kidding, we did not really have to use this, it is just on the property. The cabins was built in 1929, so back then they did use it.


The Lake

We took a walk on this bridge after dinner. It was a great sunset. A little chilly but that is ok!




Mike likes to eat Pine cones! (I think I have one just like this from our honeymoon in Lake Tahoe!)

I can not wait to get away again... just Mike and me. It was very refreshing to be a wife and not a mommy for a little while!
