Aspiring Author

My little aspiring author, aka Abigail, won the Young Authors contest at school. She is very excited, only three third graders books were chosen. She wrote the book all by herself. Here is a picture of her "Title Page."

Abigail can write, but she can not draw! So.... to the rescue came my friend Christina. She is a very talented digital scrapbook kit maker, (you can find her website here Wimpy Chomers Creations ). She had some digital clip art that was like coloring book pages, she emailed them to me and Abigail "colored" them in Paint Shop and used them for her illustrations.

She will be getting an award at school on Friday (she does not know this yet) and her books will be printed and hard bound and delivered sometime to us in May.

Her book is a very cute book about a little princess who runs away from home, makes friends in the forest, and returns to live with her mommy, happily ever after!
