Madison had her first game on Monday. Because we were so worried about getting all the gear, balls, jackets, etc, we forgot the camera! (There are 16 more games... we will get plenty of pictures!) Mike is managing Madison's softball team. 13 girls..... ages 13-15.... hmmm!
Jace had his first game on Tuesday night. He is playing on the T-Ball Cardinals. He had a great time. Here is his at bat. He actually hit the ball pretty well!

Mike and I helped coach this team "unofficially" There are no other parents on the team that are league certified, so we are the ones that get to help. I do not mind being on the field, but I would like to be able to enjoy at least 1 game without having to be on the field.
Because of the 3 teams (that means 6 games a week, plus practices!) that Mike and I are going to have to split up some times. There is even a Saturday where all 3 games are at the same time!
Here's to starting the season... it should be a good one!
