Santa Barbara Part 2

I had to get up bright and early (6:15 am... yuck!) to go get the girls from EFY. I made it up there with plenty of time to spare.

On the way back I was telling Madison and Hunter that we had seen dolphins the night before... we looked out the car window and we saw some... so I stopped to take pictures.  My camera is not as good as Mike's but I actually got some pics.  Here is one.

Once we were back to the hotel, we ate breakfast and packed up and headed to the beach.  Jace and Abi were the only ones brave enough to get in the water.

We walked down to the pier and took our family foot picture.  We opted for one foot each this time since Mike's leg is still bothering him.

After playing at the beach for a little while we stopped for lunch and headed home.  Unfortunately we ended up in this....

Little did we know that there was a fire on the 14 Freeway and it was closed.  We played the A to Z game with the few cars in front of us, then moved onto other A to Z games.  Once we started moving we saw lots of firemen....

Overall it was a great trip.... we were glad to finally be home after sitting on the freeway for an hour and a half!
