A FIRST for Kade

Kade FINALLY lost a tooth. He is 7 and 1/2, and it finally came out.... with a lot of coercion on mom's part, he sat on the bathroom sink and pulled it out. The tooth has been hanging in his mouth for almost a week. I was really worried that it was going to fall out in his sleep and he would swallow it.

Here is a picture on Monday night of him pushing the tooth with his tongue.

Here is the tooth out of his mouth in his hand... it is so small!
His first toothless grin!
I am happy to say that the tooth fairy did come last night... she was able to find our house through the wind and rain and left him one dollar, all in coins!

I have heard you will get a gold tooth if you do not stick your tongue in the hole left by the missing tooth. Must be almost impossible to avoid doing--none of us every had gold teeth. Those tiny teeth so remind me of Mike
