A few days before Kade's 8th birthday we headed to the local sporting goods store to get his uniform and book. I was able to sew all the patches on and have him ready to go for his first meeting (which was last night)
Here he is in his uniform all ready to go! (He forgot his hat and our pack does not require the cub scout shorts).
At his first den meeting they were making boats. I snuck into snap a picture. He did not finish his boat, so we need to work on it this week, so it is ready to float next week!
Kade had a lot of fun and is excited to go next week!

How lucky you are have cub scouts for him to be involved in. I hope he enjoys it. He sure looked cute in his uniform.
That pix of Kade when you caught him by surprise...can u say Mike look alike!!! Holy cow!! He looks so grown up in his uniform Kasey, I can't believe it=-)
