Kade's Baptism Day

Yesterday was Kade's baptism day. We had family and friends come from near and far to share this special day with us.

Kade was nervous but excited about getting baptized. He does not really like the water, and the idea of someone putting him under the water was a little scary for him. Daddy talked to him about it, how it would happen and he seemed to be ok.

I took some pictures this past week for his special day. One we used on the program for his baptism, the others were displayed in the foyer of the church building.

I love this picture of Kade looking into the font.

Daddy and Kade dressed in white. All ready to go.

Kade's primary teacher (Sis. Fulton) gave the talk on Baptism and Grandma Sue talked on the Holy Ghost.
When Kade and Daddy were going into the water, Kade had the biggest smile on his face. He was radiating with the light of Christ. After the baptism, he came out of the water, looked around and waved to all the kids that were sitting by the edge of the font. He was so sweet and innocent, that of course made me cry. I am please with the decision that Kade made to be baptized. He is an awesome little boy and I am proud to be his mommy.
