My boys both received awards last week at school. Kade received an award for having more than 50 AR points for the school year. Jace got an award for being an AR reader. (AR means Accelerated Reader) Along with their award, they got a free kids meal to Mimi's and a new book.

The kids get AR points by reading books at home, then taking a test on them at school. Kade loves to read and is reading lots of "big" books. The library can not keep enough of the harder books in for him. Jace is learning to love to read.

Congratulations! Reading is just the best thing.
My kids are always asking for new books to read. Way to go Jace and Kade! I am sure their hair will grow fast enough that in a couple of weeks it will be better:)
