We went to the San Bernardino County Fair. The kids won free tickets at the Maverick's game, so I decided why not. We headed out and it was HOT!!! outside. We wandered for a little bit then decided to head inside to see some of the "stuff" in there. The first building we went into had all kinds of gem stones and sculptures and quilts. The kids were able to pic a rock and use the gem equipment to make it into an oval shape... here they are doing that.

Then we wandered a bit more and daddy joined us. We looked at all the animals and exhibits. We saw Great-Grandpa there in his booth and he gave the kids some money to get a treat. They got churros and Kade bought a deep fried Twinkie (should have gotten a picture of that!!). The kids also won 4 gold fish (which as of this post 3 have already been flushed). We headed over to the last building and the kids area. They had fun over there.
There was a man doing a drum circle and we got roped into doing it. I felt bad because people would come for a few minutes and bang on the drums and leave. We were the first to join and the last to leave. Here is a picture of us with him.
It was a fun day!

How was the deep fried twinkie? Folks in Kentucky talked about them, I was always skeptical.
I like the picture of ALL of you guys:) (not just of all the kiddos minus their mommy since you are mostly taking them;))
