Recipe Review

I have not posted any links to new recipes that I have tried lately.... guess I should :)

This quick-and-easy-salsa is amazing and super easy!  Just throw everything into the blender, pulse a few times and done!

Now for a few desserts

Because Abi is allergic to chocolate I am always looking for recipes that do not have chocolate as a main ingredient or can be easily left out or substituted... this recipe for Reece's pieces No Bake drop cookies fit the bill!

I also wanted to make home made truffles for the kids teachers this year.  I have tried these recipes for other things also.  They were supper yummy.  This Truffle round up from Landee See Landee do were amazing.  I cut the recipes in half for all of these and it made plenty!
These are the truffles that I made.  I used a truffle mold to make them all be the same size.  I made them as directed in the recipes the first time.  I thought the size of them made them a little overwhelming.  I liked this size better.  On a side note, I also made the little box they went it.  Everyone loved them!

Breakfast/dessert food
German Pancakes I made these the first time as a half batch for just us girls.  They were really yummy and super easy.  I made them again for the whole family.

Now for dinner recipes (sorry no pics)

Slow Cooker Sweet and Sour Lemonade Chicken  Madison, Mike and I liked this dinner.  Abi said the chicken part was ok and the boys did not super care for it.  It was different and super easy.

Sweet Chicky Nuggets  These are AMAZING!!!  I really like them.  They kinda taste like Chick-Fil-A Chicken Nuggets.

Slow Cooker Chicken & Dumplings  This recipe was REALLY good.  I did not really care for the dumplings, but I am not a huge dumpling fan as it is.

Baked Creamy Chicken Taquitos  These were also good.  I like the flour tortillas, but Mike and the kids liked the corn better.  Either way it is yummy.  I could totally eat the "guts" on just chips.  I also love that they are baked and not fried!!

Let me know if you try any of these new recipes... I have tried other new ones, just forgot to post them... I will try to keep up on this!
