I have not been trying too many new recipes this week, as I had surgery last Friday and have not felt up to it. But here is one from before my surgery and 2 that we did yesterday.

| Cinnamon Sugar Muffins |
Cinnamon sugar crusted Muffins These are muffins that kinda taste like donuts. The kids LOVED them. I thought they were good. More muffin like than donut like. Just be sure to eat them the same day or day after... they do not keep very well... probably because you roll them in butter!

| Our Cheeze-Its |
Homemade Cheeze-It Crackers These are AMAZING!!! This is a link to a recipe similar to the one I used. I did not put any paprika in mine. I also sprinkled salt on top of them before baking. They are really yummy, although I do not think that they are quiet as crunchy as real Cheeze-Its. Because of my surgery I was not able to roll them a ton... that could have been part of my problem. Next time I make these... yes there will be a next time, I will roll them thinner!

Peach-raspberry Fruit Roll Ups.
I had to tie them with ribbon because
tape does not stick to parchment paper! |
Homemade Fruit-Roll-Ups These were a fun thing to make. I made strawberry and peach/raspberry fruit roll ups. These are commonly called Fruit Leather and made in a dehydrator, but leather vs roll ups.... I choose to call them roll ups... I think the kids would rather eat a fruit roll up than fruit leather. I also do not have a dehydrator, so I had to do the oven for a long time method. All together the actual making of the recipe took only a few minutes... the dehydrating part took a while. The strawberry ones only took about 3 1/2 hours to dry... it was thinner and smaller. The peach/raspberry one was not done when I went to bed at 10:30, so I turned the oven off and left them in the oven over night. When I got up this morning the try was dry.
Here are more pictures of this process.

strawberry ones cut into pieces. I wrapped the strawberry
ones in saran wrap too... I need to know which is
which so I don't have an allergic reactions! |
I just realized as I was getting ready to publish this post that I DID try 2 dinner recipes since my last recipe review post.
Chicken Ranch Tacos These were really yummy. I did the crock pot version. I think I want to try the stove top version. For the crock pot version, I put 3 chicken breasts in the crockpot with a packet of hidden valley ranch dressing and I made my own chicken taco seasoning.. I will have to find that recipe and add it.. then I put in the one can of chicken broth and cooked it. It only needed about 3-4 hours on low to cook all the way. It was yummy!!!

Three Cheese Pasta Bake I do not know how I forgot to post about this recipe! It was AMAZING!!! Probably the best thing that I have made in a while! It was cheesy and yummy! The only thing I would do differently next time is I would mix all the stuff together instead of layering it... but I WILL make this again!
I am making a new dinner in the crock pot tomorrow... we shall see how this goes! (Especially since I am feeding the missionaries!)
