Hit Pitch and Run Competition

Kade and Abigail participated in the Hit, Pitch and Run Competition, sponsored by Aquafina at Mavericks Stadium on Saturday. This competition has 4 levels.... local, sectional, team and national. The national competition is held at the MLB Allstar game (this year at Angels Stadium).

Both Kade and Abigail did awesome in their age categories.

Kade advanced.. he was the hitting champion, hitting the ball 91 feet, exactly on the tape. The closest kid to him was 72 feet! He out hit his competition by almost 20 feet!

Abigail also did very well in her categories.... she won the hitting, pitching and running competitions, qualifying her to be the all around champion... she also gets to advance to sectionals.

We do not yet have any details on where sectionals will be held, but we will keep anyone informed who would like to know!

I am so proud of my little kids! I told them when we started this, that it did not matter what the outcome, just to have fun! Not only did they have fun... but they won!!!
