Chippies

We have these cute little creatures in our back yard. They love to come up and play on the patio, with the kids toys. We think that they are chipmunks... every year we get a new set of babies, this year we know for sure that there are 4.... that is because that is the most little ones we have seen at once. They live out back in the wood piles.

Here is one of them standing on its hind legs. That is a toy shopping cart next to it... They are maybe 6" tall when they stand up.

Here is another one playing on the neat sheet outside..... it was trying to climb the net of Kade's pitch back, but was not successful.

They are cute little creatures... we are not really sure if they are chipmunk babies or not, the kids call them chippies. The like to play with the baby bunnies and lizards that are also living in our yard. I get told by lots of people that if we got a dog, they would move out, but we really enjoy watching them play. Kade sat and watched all 4 of them for about 20 minutes the other day.
