Jace's team has switched to coach pitch (instead of using the Tee) and they have a catcher now. Jace was the first player on his team to get to player catcher. I love this picture. He looks so serious, but so tiny!
First game coach pitching, Jace hit the ball all 3 at bats! One time he hit the ball so well that it went past 3rd base!
Abi loves playing catcher. Every week she is improving! This week the boys pitched again and she actually caught 3 balls in her glove!
Kade is a great player. He is one of the only players on our team to have multiple hits every game. He came in to pitch the bottom of the last inning, one out with bases loaded, he struck out both batters he faced. I was really excited, he was really excited!!! Although we do not keep score, he kept the runners from scoring and we won 6 to 5!
Madison's team is still struggling. They won a game finally, but on Saturday they lost again (25 to 13... better than 20 to 0). Madison did really well.... she got on base 3 times and grounded out the other at bat. But she made contact! She also made a great play catching a fly ball in right field to end the inning.
I am so proud of all my kids! They are all improving and growing as athletes!
