Finally a Tomato!

This morning I was woken up by Kade telling me that we have a tomato on the plant.  I did not believe him, because I just took pictures of it.... and I looked it all over... ... no tomatoes... I was thinking what am I doing wrong?

Well... he was right... here it is.

Hopefully the birds will leave it alone and it will grow. 

Here is also a picture of the cayenne pepper that I am letting turn red on the vine.

I also had to pick one of the green ones because it was touching the soil and getting mushy... I used the top part in salsa yesterday! Yummy!
